Description
Noctua, named after the owl which is the symbol of Athens, was founded in 2016 by four friends. From the first moment we envisioned Noctua there was no discussion about where our brewery would be located. Of course in the center of our city, in Gazi. A car repair shop was transformed with a lot of work into an urban microbrewery, a reference center for craft beer in Athens that now acquires its own beer.

On tap @ PULP Athens, and several bottles shared at home. Pours black with foamy thick off-white head. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, good lacing, dry bitter aftertaste. Rich roast malts, bitter chocolate, coffee aromas, along with pine, resin, citrus hops make this one hell of a Black IPA. By far one of the best craft beers we have in Greece. Thumbs up!
