Brown bottle, 341 ml, purchade in Decembre 2006; eye: dark burgundy, quickly fading beige head, opaque, no effervescence; nose: roasted malt, "medication" (infection?), apple; mouth: "medication", syrupy, light malt, quite fruity but cannot write that it is "apple", quite sweet, not much bitterness per se, medium body, stickty texture, mildly carbonated, light infection?; overall: a bit too "special" for me FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, acheté en décembre 2006; oeil : bourgogne foncée, mousse evanescente de couleur beige, opaque, pas d’effervescence; nez : malt torréfié, « médicament » (infectée?), pomme; bouche : « médicament », sirupeuse, léger malt, très fruitée mais ne peut pas vraiment dire que c’est de la « pomme », très sucrée, pas d’amertume pour dire, corps moyen, texture collante, moyennement carbonatée, légère infection?; en résumé : un peu trop « spécial » à mon goût

Dark clear brown with mahogany hues. Thick onctuous moka head. Sweet caramel aroma with honey notes, with grape juice notes, a bit off putting. However, in mouth, loads of caramel malt, treacle, molasse, nutty notes, and ripe cherries. A bit thin for the style, but I agree with MT, one of their better offerings. Alcohol burn in finale. Joanette for 3.99$ Sept. 2006.

Light golden beer with some pink hues and a thin lacing white head. A pleasant aroma of cranberries and aplle juice. In mouth, a very thin beer with light lemon tartness, granny smith apples and sour cranberries. Very good as a soft drink, but is this beer?

Reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. Sweet candi sugar with light peppery notes and herbs. In mouth, a sourish sweet malt, with coriander and burned toast. Light bodied. More advanced infection in this one. Bottle bought at La Barik, Trois-Rivières.

Called Pentecote Blonde. Hazy golden ale with a thin white headé Light sweet pears aroma with notes of sulfur and beginning of rubber. In mouth, a very thin malt, with light orange peels and coriander. Lighter bodied. Veering on being off. Bottle bought at La Barik, Trois-Rivières.

A nice clear brown ale with a thin off-white head. The aroma is a strange berryish ginger aroma, cloying and medical. In mouth, a sourish concoction mixing ginger with vinegar. Just plain bad. Drainpour. Bought in Jan. 2006. Doesn’t get better with age!

At Festival Bières et Saveurs Sept. 2005. Hazy golden coloured with a good creamy off-white head. Aroma of bananas and strawberries like a creamy fruit salad. A burst of strawberry comes out with very little else, it just dissapears there. Watery bodied. Lemony notes.

At Festival Bières et Saveurs Sept. 2005. Gold orange ale with a thin white head. Pleasant woody hops and citrus in aroma. In mouth, light and pleasant malt base with nice grapefruit, decent c-hops. 5 hops and 7 malts were used in this one. Light and decent IPA. Merci Pascal!
