Determined by the desire to create a quality, hand-crafted, French product and by the aspiration to come back to the source / back to basics, they aimed at increasing the value of a decisively modern product, forgotten despite its numerous energetic and gustatory qualities.

750ml wired cork bottle from Beers of Europe. Opened with a pop. Orangey golden colour, fizzy white foam head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of apple, caramel, straw, funk. Taste is sweet, ripe apple, caramel, oak, with barnyard funk and mellow tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml bottle from a Majestic Wines branch in Solihull. Pours a bright golden colour with a slight white foam. Its fruity with apples, light funk and blossom, modest sourness and quite a jammy sweetness that builds. Medium bodied, some oiliness on the palate with moderate carbonation. Ok.

330ml bottle. Clear dark pink. Nice aroma of sweet apples. Flavoursome fruity and tart apples but its very sweet. Moderate smooth body, a nice zingy carbonation, mild dry fruity finish. Ticks a lot of boxes this cider but it is sweet.
