Bottle. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose and taste of peppermint candy, fennel, herbs, sea salt, black licorice, clove, sour mash and ginger. The flavors aren’t really off, but this combination is pretty hard to drink. Salt is a little overpowering. Medium body. Some light sour malt in finish followed by sea salt. The first beer I’ve had from Big Alice that really doesn’t work for me.

Bottle split at Dadsgiving, big thanks to James (t clockwork), this bottle under the alias #0004. Murky orange amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is soured fruit, tarte peach, brett notes, dank straw. Taste comprises peach, orange, light spice, pear, tangy fruit, yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light spice and tarte fruit. Nice stuff, could have had this down as a light sour.

Bottle. Pours black oil with brown head. Nose and taste of peppermint, candy cane, sweet chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. Medium body. A touch over carbonated.

Bottle in NYC. Pours murky peach gold with small white head. Nose and taste of peach, banana, peach candy, wheat malt and a lot of alcohol. A bit too strong for a wheat for my liking. Medium body.

Bottle shared at Dadsgiving, big thanks to Max, 24/11/13. Murky reddish amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is herbal, light smoke, cherry tomato, spice, red pepper houmous. Taste comprises spicy tomato and chilli gespacho soup, spice, cherry tomato, herbs. Medium bodied ,fine, spiced finale. Interesting stuff, not one I’d look to revisit but a good stab at something different.
