Bottle. Pours reddish brown with off white head. Nose and taste of alcohol soaked cherry, maple syrup, caramel, toffee, alcohol and chewy grain. Body is thinner side of medium. This could definitely use at least six months more of bottle conditioning.

Bottle shared with Yanick. Pours black with tan brown head. Thick head. Nose and taste of anise, black licorice, roast chocolate malt, peppermint, vanilla cookie and roast coffee. The anise plays the dominant role - a bit too much. Still tasty though.
