Draft at Barcade JC, 7/26/15
Hazy light yellowish color with a bright white head and light lace. Lemony aroma. But if wheat and some subtle salinity. Less salty and sour than you might expect. Clean and refreshing. Tingly, lightly dry finish.

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Hazy medium gold color with a small rocky beige head. Slightly dank hoppy nose with a hint of ground mustard seed. Flavor is more of the same with notes of bitter lemon and dandelion greens. Some tropical fruit notes as well. Mid taste brings bready malt that is quickly engulfed by the complex spicy, bitter hop bill. Finish is white grapefruit and arugula greens. Nicely done.

(Can, 0.355 l, at laiti’s, 20150613, thanks) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had coffee with cream. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, coffee, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy, sweet and bitter. A rather weird brew with strange aroma. A gimmick beer.

Waxed and capped growler shared at a tasting, 6/8/15. Clear copper, thin fizzy white head, decent retention. Aroma of coffee, peppermint, vanilla, pale malts. The taste is spearmint, vanilla, mild coffee. Medium bodied. Definitely weird but a nice surprise.

(Can, 0,473 l, at laiti’s, 20150613, thanks) The beer poured pale golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grapefruit and citricness. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grapedruit, citricness, pine, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter and fruity. Too one-dimensional but nice.
