Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was pine, tropical fruits, perfume and had a tangy presence. The flavor was pine, lemon, catbox and perfume with a sweet tangy undertone. Long pine and lemon finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

The Sampler, tap: Pours light brown with an off-white head. Aroma is dark fruits, nuts, caramel, and a hint of earthiness. I don’t know if it was the summer temperature or what, but I didn’t entirely dig this beer. Everything seems to have been done correctly, but it didn’t really come together for me. Somewhat sweet, lightly bitter, plenty of caramel.

Can thanks to Dmac. Pours a hazy gold and pinkish hue with small frothy white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is tart citrus, oak, and berries. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart lemon and berry with light dry finish. Very good.
