16 oz can from Paragon, 1/10/24. Dark brown, thin head. Bread, grass, herbal, pine. Bit of orange rind. Light bread / toast. Maybe a hint of smoke. ABV is completely hidden. I was drinking this and thinking how different it is from most Black IPAs (just the lack of dark malt / roast flavor), and then I read the description, and yeah, it all makes sense now. Fun beer.

Draught at Double Windsor: pours super pale. Grainy, lemony, but barely, and some grass. Light and somewhat bitter. Sharp with a little bite.

My 125th Carton rating. Growler from Hamilton Super BuyRite. Number one with a bullet. Orange gold pour has a a smallish white head. Aroma of bittersweet citrus and earthy coffee. Flavor is dank citrus, earthy coffee and warming alcohol. Intensely bitter on the palate. Orange zest gets lost in the strong coffee essence.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Nearly opaque dark brown color. Rocky tan head. Nice lacing. Subtle smoked malt aroma hints at oak and campfire. Flavor is dark roasted malt, some oak, some bourbon and some smoke. The peach flavor is sparse. Honestly, it’s like smoking a cheap cigar. Some bitterness on backend. Interesting.

16 ounce can. Hazy pale gold pour. Frothy white head. Fresh citrus nose. Stone fruit, melon and a hint of green onion. Flavor leans toward lemon, peach, grapefruit, orange and fresh herbs. Soft, supple mouthfeel. A bit of dank citrus and pine in the finish. Lovely.
