355ml can. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a small, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready wheat malt, orange peel, lemon, earthy yeast and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit pith, peach, pineapple and pine resin in a dry, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Crushable and full of flavour. A pretty solid SIPA.

Hazy orange pour with good head and lacing. Paper, light green onion--kind of boring. Tap at Snally.

Notes from October 2012 32oz growler from Whole Foods. Faceted whiskey glass. Very slightly hazed, cola brown body. Inch of sunken, off-white head. Smells of brown bread, alcohol, & rind. Not very attractive so far. Gritty/chewy, slightly charred malt. More dry then bittersweet. The beer is really dominated by a pithy, herbal bitterness that just lingers. Works better in their IPA then it does here. Toasty, tannic/tea-like finish. Probably the weakest offering from Carton that I've had so far. Several other awesome beers in their limited portfolio though. I could drink BOAT or Monkey Chase till I vomit down. Just a bump in the road.

Draft at Paragon, 8/1/24. Dark brown, thin medium brown head. Sugary chocolate milk, with some light roast and a touch of peanut butter. Super duper sweet, too much so for my taste. Solid overall, in small quantities, but you have to like sweet. 8/4/7/3/15
