0.33 l can from 'Beyond Beer', best before July 2027. Very hazy, golden yellow with a large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, some banana and light bergamot. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral, slightly grassy and minimally yeasty-spicy taste of pineapple, lemon peel, some banana and hints of honey, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Nice one.

A wonderful experience with this beer, an amazing union between the Belgian and the American tradition, apricot/hoppy, sweet and malty, 22.11.19, at my rented house, Hoofdroop.

In my point of view, this beer is perfect for the summer, at our Lemanus lake or lake of Geneva for the tourists, dry, hoppy and resinous, 22.11.19, at Hoofdroop, buying it at one Albert Heijn, Amsterdam Zuid

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Grassy, light piney hop aroma with malt, some orange. Medium bitter and light sweetish. Medium body. Eh, hoped it would be better.

330 ml bottle. Pours almost black with short tan head. Aromas of bourbon, oak, green pepper, a bit of candi sugar and thin roasted malts. Flavors follow same with green pepper and oak leading; coming across a bit like postage stamp. Base beer is probably not big enough malt wise and/or barrel ageing maybe too long.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark reddish brown with short tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, dark caramel, fruity coffee, soft oak, a bit of maple syrup and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with more coffee influence. A bit thin, which also seems to bring out the coffee.
