Golden with white foamy head. Aroma of citrus, coriander seeds, yeast and hops. Fruit tones and malts. Fresh taste, some sweets but not too much, orange, spices, malts. Wheat. Nice hoppy tone. Balanced. Nice beer to celebrate spring. (from 33cL bottle) Update: 26-4-2011, from tap: Mostly the same qualities as the bottled version. Aroma more malty, less coriander. Flavour more liquorice and more pronounced bitter hops. Dryer, but this could also be age (residual sugars of the bottling might be more fermented)

A tapped wooden barrel atop the bar at Arends Nest. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light palate. A little dry. Low carbonation. Sweetish malt - somewhat tripel like. Mellow smoke, clear and present but never overwhelming. Nicely judged! Finishes a tiny bit dry with a trace of bubblegum and some subtle wood. Alright - fresh pleasant drinking smoked beer.

On tap at the Wildeman. Hazy gold beer with a good fluffy white head. Semi dry palate. A dash of fresh orange citrus is largely swallowed by some intense bitterness! The bitterness is slightly grapefruit but mostly just bitter! A little perseverance and frankly some brave slooshing in the mouth produces a brief note of typical tripel like sweetness but this only emphasises the overwhelming bitterness even more! Intense and not in a good way, could not finish it.

On tap at Arendsnest. Black beer with a creamy tane head. Minerally nose. Light palate. Roasty malt, not too bitter. Trace of lactose and of smoke. Not bad - come accross more like a Porter! Ha!

Bottled at Nya Tröls, Malmö. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Fruit nose where black currant is evident. Full bodied with clean, edgy mouthfeel.Plenty of spicy hops and balck currant leads to a realy bitter finish. Rather edgy.

On tap @ Arendsnest. Smoked hefeweizen, I thought it was a combination that wouldn’t work, but it did, and surprisingly well. All the aroma’s of a good hefeweizen: wheat, juicy fruit, some banana/clove/vanilla and then some smoke, not too strong but clearly present. Flavor is ever so slightly sweet, grainy, smoky. Medium bodied, that helped too. Dryish somewhat bitter finish. Very pleasant surprise.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white foamy head that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is wheat, some citrus fruits, mild spices, bread and some mild bitter hops. Flavour is grass, grain, some wheat, mild hayish and cardboardy notes as well as some slight fruits and yeast. Rather strange, but at the same time a quite nice brew.
