Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, thanks to our host with the most, 12/06/14. Hazed chestnut brown with reddish hues topped with a moderately sized light beige swirl. Nose is tarte cherries, fruit balsams, light acidic waftings, straw, dank berry woodness. Taste comprises tarte cherry skins, berry fruit balsamics, mild acidity, straw, wooden rinse. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Nice sour, good balance.

At Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont, 750ml bottle thanks to Travlr! Thanks Gene! Poured a completely hazy pink color with an off-white head. Aroma was notes of tart cranberry. Sour. Flavor was sour cranberry, with notes of barrel. Very easy to drink - nice sour beer.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Bruce. Pours murky purple with a frothy, off-white head. Good, earthy cherry nose, light funk, grape skin. Light to medium sweet flavor with crisp, zippy sour berries, cherry, light acidic, slight metal. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish with background jammy sweetness, nice ripe, tart cherries, a bit of tongue-blister sour bite, slight alcohol warmth. Well rounded, very nice.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. It pours hazy deep red with minimal head. The nose is tangy, sweet cherry, jammy fruits, wood and a touch of barnyard. The taste is crisp, tart, ripe cherry, cherry pie, lemon sherbet, wood, tangy, jammy, very mild acidity with a dry, lightly tart finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not overly sour or acidic. A very approachable and drinkable sour.

Bottle. Strong lavender/coriander and wheat malt aroma. Pale yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lavender, lemon, and wheat malt flavor. Not horrible - strong floral presence.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber peach with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a good amount of sour cranberry with a hint of sweetness and a hint of barrel. Flavor has a nice sour cranberry note with a bit of acid backed by a light sweetness and barrel.

Bottle @ home via trade. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance that’s pretty clear with no head. Aroma has dark fruits, red grapes, a little bit of smoke, caramel, and spices. Very dull carbonation. Lightly tart. Some vinegar in the mouth. Dark grapes, plums, cinnamon, leathery, light chemical, and a bit of soy sauce. Not very good and even more so since the carbonation sucks.

Bottle @ home via trade and rotebox. Pours a bit hazy reddish orange appearance with a pretty minimal tan head. Aroma has some oak, vanilla, sour cherries, and a bit of acetic acid. A little bit of raspberries as well. Body is a bit thin. Moderately sour. Kind of tastes like cherry Gushers chewy candies. The cherry flavor isn’t as good as the Monomoy Kriek, but at least, there is some carbonation. That being said, the carbonation is pretty thin. Some caramel, vanilla, and dark fruit flavors as well. Kind of a fun beer but could still use a bit more carbonation.

Bottle @ home, via trade. Carbonation is pretty dull based on the cork popping. Pours a deep orange appearance with light head. Aroma is full of delicious tart pie cherries with a touch of vinegar and some wood. Definitely some caramel and brown sugar along with a really delicious pie cherry filling flavor. Carbonation is almost nonexistant. Really unfortunate on the carbonation but the beer is otherwise quite enjoyable.
