Where the Wild Beers Are, 2010. Pink color. Flavor has grapefruit. Brett in the aroma and more in the flavor. Effervescent and light, very pleasantly light on the palate and refreshing. I enjoyed this.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours slightly hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma is bread with sweetness. A bit thin. Flavor is breadish with not a great deal of hop bitter. Well, the bitter seems to build, so there’s enough to help kill the malt. Overall it’s ok, just not the APA I expected from the words on the label. It’s growing on me.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy amber color with a small white head. Fruity citric hops aroma with some slightly biscuity malt. Flavor has some sweet malt, biscuit, dough and caramel notes, some fruitiness and a drier finish with moderate hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of grapefruity hops, a bit of fruits, flowers and light cookie-ish notes. Bitter hoppy flavor with some pine, citrus, and a bit of slightly grainy malt sweetness with a tiny bit of caramel hints. Finishes with sharp bitterness. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

0.33L bottle, small head, dark orange to light brown colour, bready aroma with some jam and a touch of herbs, flavour of malty bread with a strong herbal bitterness a touch of jammy sweetness and a fruity hint in the back, long bitter aftertaste. Quite nice

0.33L bottle, smallish head, murky orange colour, aroma of peach, citrus and some herbs, extremely strong grapefruit bitterness, a bit too strong, with some herbs and a hint of soap, bitter metalic aftertaste with a fruity hint. Quite good and very refreshing.

From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy caramel-orange color with a small beige head that produced good lacing. The aroma was light sweet grapefruit, light pine and a bit of caramel. The flavor was malty, nutty and lightly bitter with notes of grapefruity, pine and caramel. Medium length sweetish hoppy finish. Medium body. Subdued but pleasant.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is strangely spicy, seems like cardamum or something. Has some lemon and a little metal. Rather thin finish.

Bomber courtesy of ksurkin, this thing has been in my frig since April. It pours deep darkness with infra red edges and thin mocha head. The aroma is dark to burnt, mild chocolate and dusty baker’s chocolate. The taste is rich roasty to burnt to chocolate malts to caramel. It’s roasted to burnt malt forward and yummy with lingering coffee, caramel and chocolate heading off into the finish and after taste. Very tasty. Well done!
