750ml bottle sampled at the DC Local tasting. Pours a slightly viscous, opaque black with a thin, ringing brown head. Toasty, nutty aroma, sweet too. Flavor is molasses, brown sugar, toast, coffee, slightly nutty. Slightly sticky otherwise dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a large white head and a hazy golden body. Aroma of candi sugar and dry fruit with a tinge of alcohol. Taste is dry with grain and wheat, decently hoppy and some pear. Dry and fizzy.

On cask at Friday the Firkenteenth at the Grey Lodge Pub. Pours a translucent, golden amber with a cloudy white head. Aroma is standard for a Grand Cru, honey, candy sugar, Belgian yeast, apples, a hint of spice. Flavor is sticky sweet, candy sugar, apples, grains, Belgian yeast. Full bodied, sticky finish. Maybe it was just the change of pace at the cask fest, but I found this rather enjoyable.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Down Beach Liquors, 8/13/09

Aroma: Lemony and hoppy, wheat, citrus fruits, pineapple, apricot
Appearance: Hazy cream orange color, white frothy head that dissipates pretty quickly
Flavor: Nice mix of citrus and wheat flavors, with a solid hop profile as well
Palate: Smooth, refreshing, easy to drink, decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is a pretty nice beer. I liked it. Tasty, smooth, refreshing, and still has some decent flavor to it. A pretty nice attempt made with this beer, well done.

**Just submitted a Photo for this one as well, as it was missing one.

Bottle: Poured a dark amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention but minimal lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with some sweet Belgian style malt and some light alcohol. Taste is a nice enough mix between some fruity ester some candi sugar and nice Belgian malt. Body is about average with good carbonation but light alcohol burn was slightly disappointing. Not bad overall but I have seen better form this style.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden amber color with a small white head. The aroma was sweet, sugary and had a candied fruit element. The flavor was sweet, tangy, sugary, yeasty and had notes of candied fruit and pepper. The finish was long with tangy candied fruits. The mouthfeel was rather thick. Interesting.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy golden-amber color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sour, tangy, tarty and had a note of Sweettart candies.
