Burk i hemmets vrå.

Crowler from RnH-West. Pours an unclear golden-orange with minimal head and no lace. Juicy, fruity hop aroma. Melon, pine, orange / tangerine, pineapple, a bit of spruce, and some more resiny-pine notes. Drinks on the sweet side with a light-medium, clean bitterness. Soft carbonation. Clean, sticky feel. Well hidden ABV. Flavor develops on this beer as it warms. Straight out of the fridge it's a little thin, but it really shows nicely around cellar temperature.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy almost golden color with a film of a little white head that fell off immediately. Slightly speckled sliding lace.
The aroma blends sweet danky onion to crisp sweet peach. Slight grassy sweetness. And then a touch of lemon rind opens it up a bit more. Light pine.
The flavor starts danky sweet through the onion and then ends up blending some peach and lemon as it continues to warm.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. Good carbonation. Gets a little bit syrupy in the feel as it warms. Still, a lingering somewhat sharp bitterness seems to coincide with the syrupy feel.
Overall, well, good aroma and flavor, but the feel, just seems a bit different for a DIPA, maybe again, not sure.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a transparent yellow color with some carbonation seen rising at a moderate pace. Just a cap of a little white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some sweet to danky onion straight up and bold up front. Subtle hints of citrus and grassy hops accompany nicely. Super low cracker malt backbone.
The flavor leads with the danky sweet onion, and seems to be more of the onion itself in this department. Slight good vegetal quality. Sticky danky sweet onion aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, very nicely done AIPA with a lighter colored look to it. Don’t be fooled by this. Try for yourself.
