Description
Lucky Bucket is one of Nebraska’s oldest craft breweries, we tapped our first beer in January 2008 with the debut of Pre-Prohibition Lager which, along with Certified Evil Imperial Stout have been stalwarts on taps and shelves across Nebraska.

From our first beer Lucky Bucket has always been interested in pushing the craft market by looking for the unexpected, from using old recipes and exploring forgotten styles, to trying new ingredients and experimenting with different styles.

Although there are some changes afoot we’ll promise you that you can find your old standbys as well as rotation of new options whenever you come by the taproom.

From the taproom, to the bar, to your back deck, at Lucky Bucket our goals have always been simple, to create high-quality beers that people can enjoy with friends and family no matter what life throws at you.

Thanks Tara for the bottle.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a slightly glossy golden color with a slight transparency about it. Light carbonation was seen rising. Light speckled lacing showed it’s face after a semi - quickly dieing head.
The smell had a light strawberry with fairly light sweet corn notes blending decently.
The taste was mainly the strawberry and that was pretty light as well.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there but even that wasn’t too harsh - it actually had a decent smoothness to it.
Overall, a nice Summer session I think I could come back to.

Draft. A- Wheat, watery, strawberries. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Strawberries, wheat, sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, fruity finish. O- Felt a lot like the Abita Strawberry. The berry flavor at least didn’t taste artificial. Still needed a lot of work to create a balanced beer though.

On tap at CBB, a very citrusy nose with a medium body. The taste was definitely hop forward but overall fairly good. An ok Black IPA.

Reviewed from notes.
Driving through Nebraska this past summer, stopped in Lincoln and was able to pick this up.
The appearance is mostly clear somewhat hazy, but still steady streams of carbonation are seen rising and feeding a one finger white foamy head that dies within a minute, some nice decent slightly foamy lacing graces the sides of the glass.
The smell has wheat up front, slightly sweet maltiness, light corn
The taste is mainly sweet through the wheat and corn, slightly bready, definite bready aftertaste, dry finish.
On the palate, she sits about a light to medium, comes across fairly sessionable. Carbonation was on par for the style and good for me.
Overall, this may not get the best reviews here, but I came from the wasteland of this style, if anyone thinks this is bad, try finding this style done well from New England and then you’ll find this isn’t as bad you think, I’d have this again.
