Description
Three Notch’d Brewing Company was conceived by three friends who value great beer and great times, with close family and friends. Each of us has a great appreciation for individualism, respect for hard work and earning our ability to give back to the communities we live in. We opened our doors for commercial operation in August of 2013 and work each day to Leave Our Mark on the craft brew industry and Charlottesville, VA by making great beer and collaborating with all lovers of the craft beer industry. We hope that you will join us and Leave Your Mark, too.

Keg at the brewery, 4/10/15. Clear dark brown, thin frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, floral hops and a soapy note. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, molasses, anise, herbal hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Keg at the brewery, 4/8/15. Clear copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit zest, strong citrus notes, lime juice, pale malt. The taste is dry citrus, grapefruit, lime, pale malt, hint of caramel.

Peanut butter, cardboard, and nail polish on the nose. Cloudy amber, thin head. Peanut and nail polish flavor. Medium body, easy carbonation. Delightfully strong peanut flavor, but with nagging acetone notes.

Draft at the source at Drake’s 10k tapping. Congrats! Hazy to cloudy amber color, bright white head. Nice aroma of burning leaves and lightly charred bacon. Taste is sweet, malty, smoky caramel. Some is subtle enough that you can drink a decent amount of this. Very tasty. And thanks for taking my name suggestion!
