375 ml bottle from the Meadery. Gold pour with a small fizzy white head. Peppery heat, honey, and some herbal notes. Wasn't expecting the carbonation at all. That was odd. Blew the cap off the bottle and everything. Not enjoying this version as much as either of the other two versions. Weird mouthfeel.

500 ml bottle from the Meadery. Bottled May 2016. Clear gold. Aroma is whiskey over floral notes and honey. Much more balanced in the flavor with vanilla notes joining the rest of the aroma's components. It all melds much better than the aroma suggested. I like the feel quite a bit too. Nice Mead.

Bottle from the Meadery. Pours a dark purple-reddish color, almost grape juice-like. Pretty nice aroma and flavor that is dominated by the mix of black fruits. Not as much of the floral, honey notes come through as with most meads, this one is instead really all about the fruits. Feels almost juice-like on the mouth. Definitely leans sweet, but stays away from being cloying. Really nice.

Bottle from the Meadery. Clear white gold color. Aroma is floral orange blossom honey with some underlying ginger notes. Smooth, clean, fairly sweet flavor. Ginger comes through on the finish. Brought this to a BYOB sushi place, which worked extremely well from a pairing perspective.

Bottle from the Meadery. Clear gold color. The vanilla is stronger than the chocolate in both aroma and flavor, but both are present and noticeable and blend nicely with the underlying floral, aromatic honey. Very clean and drinkable. Pretty darn tasty.

Bottle at tasting at JTClockwork’s been wanting to try these fellas and din’t disappoint. nice nose of clover honey, florals and orange blossom. tastes of honey, oranges, florals, pineapple, touch herbal. nice clean palate. tasty.
