75cl bottle from a shop in Veules-les-Roses, Normandy. Clear gold appearance, moderate carbonation. Crisp, fresh feel with nice apple definition.. pretty good for a cheapo cider, and especially good considering Val de Rance made it.

Bright orange coloured 50cl can as 'Baltus', picked up at Pidou in Dunkirk. Drank at Auntie Sue's BBQ on 10th August 2024, the can having been pre-positioned by me. Why do I buy stuff when I know it's going to be shit? It's a cheap supermarket Lager and I shouldn't be anywhere near it!

clear golden cider with apple juice and slight earthy-wine cellary notes; taste of sweet apple juice and some minimal earthy notes; not bad

Dark golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet dessert apples. Not much else. A bit sweet and one sided.

Bottle shared outside of the cidershack. Looks clear and applejuice golden. Sweet and dry apples, light straw, mild tannins. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Clean and dangerously decent for the price of less than 2 euro’s.

0,5 boks fra Angkor Supermarket delt med Kitty på hotellrommet i Siem Reap mars-19: tilbake fra Angkor Wat og andre ikoniske steder i nærmere 40C, så tørsten er påtagelig. Denne gjør lite for å bedre situasjonen.

750ml bottle from Paris supermarket, as Cidre Breton Bouche Brut 5%. Deep orangey gold colour, foamy white foam head that reduces to a thin layer, and aroma of juicy apple, caramel, wood. Taste is fruity apple, apples skins, bittersweet with caramel, woody and some tannins. Medium bodied, fine spritzy carbonation, semi-dry tangy appley finish. Nicely drinkable.

Wenig intensiver, etwas wässriger Antrunk. Geringe Herbe, etwas nach Weizen. Okay. 7/7/8/7/6/7
