Almost clear dark golden with a creamy head. Dry hops, metal, lemon, roasted malt. Metallic bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, metallic malty bittersweet finish. More a North German Pilsner than Märzen.

Tulip in Wiesbaden is a leggy black, beige head. Nose has cinnamon and coconut and some coffee. Licorice. Flavor is weird. Licorice and molasses, huge toasted coconut, vanilla. Coffee feels lost here. Finish is peppery. Is that the booze?

Bottle from Biermarket. Aroma is very grainy with hay, herbal yeasty notes, noble hop, herbal leaf finish. Flavour is moderate bitter with low sweetness. Medium body. Interesting and unique aroma, herbal, bit rustic, plenty going on.
