Copper color, small, almost fleeting beige head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, and gentle maltiness. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel malt, slightly earthy hops, soft mouthfeel, moderately sweet. Clean, decent Oktoberfest beer.

9/10/9/10//10

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Light haze on an orangey gold. Very decent just off white foam. Nose has peppery hop with sturdy biscuit sweet malts. Whiff of sourness. A bit tinny. But good tinny. Taste is bitter more than sweet which I didn’t expect. Toothsome and nourishing feeling. Good peppery hop finish. Burp inducing meal in a glass.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Dark orange to almost amber color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, light caramel hints, soft caramelized sugars, decently bitter. Quite alright. I like this one. Pretty nice.

500ml bottle bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Mid to dark brown, a little translucency, a ring of beige head. Light chocolate malt in the aroma. Sweet taste, a little bit of bitterness, some bready character. More bitterness in the finish. Medium body and carbonation on the low side. Really simple stuff done quite well.
