Brauerei Neunspringe owns 1 brewery:
Description
The brewery was founded in 1867 as the Dampfbrauerei Carl Kuntze. Later the name was changed into "Brauerei Neunspringe" on an old field name which in turn is derived from nine springs in the source area of the Hahle, from which the brewery draws its spring water. The brewery survived the war and stayed in the hand of the Kuntze family. But in 1953 the brewery was confiscated and transferred to a state-owned company, a situation that lasted till the end of the GDR. After a trust agency period by the Treuhandanstalt, the company became in a private limited company (GmbH) again in 1994.

Nice and smokey with the barrel whisky coming through nice and strong, but not so much that it destroys the beer. well balanced with other smoked meats. Bierboerse dresden

Bottle bought in Leipzig. Smooth mild beginning. Dry with floral hints. The peated malts are there, grainy with a nice peated finish. Nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Neunspringer Whisky Ale on 25 Mar 2017 at 17:04 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: *Bottle from Globus in Leipzig. Nice smooth round beginning. Soft with a smooth and slightly sweetish grainy body. Round wood-hints, fresh fruits and vanilla there, hints of whisky as well, round in picture and taste. Long woody-vanilly grainy aftertaste with a moderate sweetness.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Stouty aroma. Starts strong, malty, light alcoholic, malty-stouty. Some earthy notes, some wood. Light sweethis hints. Finish well balanced, still intense roasty-malty. Not bad.

Big thank you to kappldav123 for that good looking 0,33 l bottle. A darkest clear amber in the glass, small one finger beige head. Smells malty with intensive whisky, some peat. Taste is malty, some alcohol sharpness. Later some stout typical choco and coffee. No carbonation. Nice.

0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot mate! Very nice label. Unclear copper in the glass. Nearly no head. A mix of burnt peat and smooth whisky smell with caramel. Taste starts with some peat, caramell and sweet malt. Little bit increasing dry bitterness, less whisky. Smooth. Nearly an easy drinkin´ stuff due to the hidden alcohol. No real carbonation. Not bad but could have been more deepness.
