Geruch nach Weihnachtsbratapfel Geschmacklich ebenso. Allerdings frisch / fruchtiger (weil eben nicht gebraten) und säuerlicher. Im Endteil kommt eine bitter / staubige Note durch, dass ich fast schon versucht bin zu glauben, dass hier echter Zimt verwendet wurde und kein billiges, künstliches Aroma. Heiß genossen reduziert sich die Fruchtigkeit etwas, schmeckt aber trotzdem.

Can. An almost clear, still drink with some white bubbles around the rim. The aroma is cinnamon driven, with apple in the supporting role. Sugary fruity-sweet. Semi-sticky on the palate, medium bodided, with a flavor of apple juice and cinnamon. Less cinnamon than in the aroma. Medium length finish. Might be more interesting if warmed this one. 231226

330ml bottle at Tin Corner, Ipoh, Malaysia. Brewed by Carlsberg Malaysia. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a very short lived fizzy white head and lots of champagne bubbles. The aroma is crushed apples. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a light, crisp, sugary, acidic, bubbly, light vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Recht sprudelig beim Einschenken. Sieht wie ein Rosésekt im Glas aus. Toller Duft nach aromatischer Orangenschale. Süß fruchtig und aromatisch bitter auch beim Trinken. Campari und Aperol fallen mir ein. Der Apfel kommt erst nach 2 - 3 Schlucken so richtig raus. Vielleicht einen Hauch zu süß, trotzdem gar nicht schlecht. Schmeckt. Bei den Damen der Schöpfung dürfte diese Variante des Somersby Ciders sehr gut ankommen.

If you have this one ice cold and on a really hot day. Well ok. Then it was quite ok. It was suprisingly not a bit to sweet. Also some artificial notes. But it did at least taste watermelon. You know what you get when buying this [Bottle Gry brought with her from Crete]
