Bottle from Budgens Islington, drunk at home. Lots of carbonation, had to decant into 3 glasses and then again to get something even vaguely drinkable. Clear russet cola with lasting rocky beige head. Tasty amber ale, normally you’d have PNW hops on this. With English hops, it’s more like a premium bitter. Fine. Would prefer this with the grapefruit PNW hops though. It’s decent. Malts are good.

Hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is fresh, semi dry and with mild carbonation. Nice hops, mild but flavoursome. Fruit salad sweets, touch of mango. Minerals. Semi dry finish with very mild bitterness. Again a nice use off Southern Hemisphere hops.

Hazy gold beer, little white bubbly head. Palate is light and dry and smooth. Lovely hops - lemon and lime, well balanced with floral flavours and a little earth. Neutral malt base really shows off the NZ hops. Semi dry finish. Savoured every mouthful of this great NZ hop showcase.
