300ml bottle bought at the brewery in Kyoto by my son as I housesat his dogs. Nose is faint fruity hints of casaba melon with a touch of almond. Milky pale yellow with no carbonation. Flavor is moderately sweet rice without any apparent astringency.

720 ml screwcap green bottle, a birthday gift. ABV is 14.5%. No carbonation, nearly clear like water, just a hint of straw colour. Aroma of boiled rice, a hint of rubber. Flavour of rice and alcohol, warming mouthfeel.

Tried at local Chinese restaurant. Colorless. Somewhat heated, is that what's supposed to happen? Sweetish, whiskey, vanilla aroma. Interesting! Flavor is rice, somewhat alcoholic, softly sweetish and a bit dusty. But solid. Good one.

From my sake backlog. 305 ml bottle. Clear, pale golden body, light sparkling, but no head. Looks like white wine. Mild aroma with sake yeast and light fruity. Flavor is rather sweet for a sake, quite much citric fruit, hint of flowers, very weak rice and almost no alcohol. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Easy to drink, not very complex.

From my sake backlog. 280 ml bottle. Body is clear like water with slightly oily consistence. Mild aroma of sake yeast, light rice water and hint of almond. Flavor is stronger, and quite sweet with perfumed/floral sake yeast, a bit fruity and warming alcohol. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not very complex, quite easy to drink, no off flavors. Might be a nice introduction to the world of sake.

From my sake backlog. 750 ml bottle. Clear and almost a bit oily body. Aroma is fruity with raisin and not to dominating alcohol. Flavor is light citric fruity; some rise and quite mild on the alcohol. Medium body. Quite nice with good balance between sweetness and acidity. Nice but not outstanding.

300ml bottle with an extremely unhelpful label; front just has the logo and slogan "The Superior Japanese Sake" and back label is in Dutch presumably added by the importer which just calls it "Traditional Sake"; ABV is 14.5% but polishing rate and other info not given.
Clear with a light yellow-ish tint. Aroma is floral, melon, rice. Taste is the same, floral, melon, rice, pear/apple notes. Warming booze, light sweetness into a drying finish.

Bottle shared in the train to Burton. A crystal clear, water. Aroma is yuzu, , some citrus, alcohol, oily, flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, parafin, zesty, not harsh. Some alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, oily, rounded. Good.

180ml bottle as part of a delivery from the Japan Centre, London and drunk at home. Milky white, flat. Vanilla, rice pudding and marshmallow aroma - is this real or the whiteness making me imagine it? - along with light melon and citrus undertones. Sweet and slightly boozy taste with a medicinal bitterness lurking underneath adding balance. Gritty notes from the rice in the finish. I love this.
