Bottle (@ Zum Bautzener Tor, Dresden): Hazy, reddish-golden coloured, stable white head with a little lace; malty, a bit barnyardy nose with a sweetish-toasty background, some fruits and hops detectable; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering bitter-toasty finish. O.K., but where is the smoke.......

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, golden colour without head, looks like apple juice. Strong notes of baking yeast and lighter notes of ripe apples. Slightly acidic flavour, light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Aromatic taste like a fresh unfiltered apple juice with a well-covered alcohol; the baking yeast shows up again during the moderately dry sour-sweet and apple-fruity finish. Smells horrible, the rest is okay. 10.V.10

Bügelverschlußflasche von Stefan! Pale golden, no head, cloudy; sourish-fruity (apples, what else?!) nose, like organic apple-juicy with baking yeast; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied, but quite soft; shorter moderately sweet and sour finish. Likeable thirst quencher.....

bottle, bought at the brewery, shared with Allen! Clear brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of caramel. Malty, hints of caramel and chocolate, shy fruity hints are also there.

bottle, bought at Bautzner Tor, shared with Allen. Hazy golden colour, mid-sized head. Fruity nose. Malty, pleasantly fruity with only a very shy hemp character - that’s why I like it probably.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Stefan!): Golden to deep golden, hazy, rapidly collapsing white foamy layer; light mineralic (chalky) and hoppy (woody) nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, smooth; lingering buttery, chalky and spicy-hoppy finish. Very pleasant "semi-bohemian" Pils.....

Bügelverschlußflasche (kindly deliverd by Stefan!): Hazy, amber coloured, slowly collapsing white firm head; mineralic, chalky nose with malt and woody hops; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering drier bitter-malty finish. Not bad, but a typical "neither - nor" brew.....

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Stefan!): Deep golden, hazy, quite stable firm white head; distinctive fruity nose (apricots) with pale-malt and hops in the background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; returning stronger fruitiness in the bitter-sweet finish. Didn’t expect, that "Hanf" (hemp) causes such a fruitiness.....

Bügelverschlußflasche ( von Stefan!): Hazy, amber coloured, quite stable off-white head; dryish toasty caramel with a tinge of dried fruits in the nose, shy aromatic hops underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not too light bodied; slightly lingering toasty and hoppy finish. Incredibly good Non-Düsseldorf Alt...........
