“Elbhang Rot“, vom Faß im Bautzner Tor, Dresdner Neustadt. - Rotgold, schön trüb, feiner Schaum. - In der Nase leichtes Toastmalz, mild zitroniger Hopfen und ein Hauch von Zimt oder ähnlichem. - Antrunk gediegen toastmalzig mit elegant zitronigem Hopfen, etwas Orangenschale, geschickt auf die feine Karamelmalzsüße abgestimmt und mit zarter fruchtig-pikanter Säure abgeschmeckt. Ganz feine Gewürznote (Weihnachtsgebäck). Mild rezent, schlank, leicht mineralisch. Im Abgang elegant grasiger, fein kräuteriger Hopfen. - Sehr elegantes Rotbier mit feiner Kräuternote, rund und süffig.

50cl swing top bottle from Bautzner Tor Dresden. A clear orange brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Reddish malt in the aroma, some bitter hops, spruce, caramel. Taste of reddish malt, caramel, spruce, mild bitter hops.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal hoppy. Slight grassy. Sweet, crisp hoppy. Dry, bitter and slight herbal. Fruity and bitter finish.

On tap at the brewpub (Bautzner Tor). Fast klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch ist mild aromatisch hopfig, helles malz, leicht hefig. Geschmack ist mild hopfig, zitronig, getreidig, nicht zu bitter, okay!

0,33 l Steinie bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Murky flat golden with a fast fading off white two finger head. Smells soapy. Taste starts more soapy. Some caramell in the background. Meh, not my cup of tea.

330ml bottle [Thanks again, Maddie!]. Milky, brass golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Grassy-spicy, herbal aroma, subtle floral fruitiness, a cautious touch of weed. Taste is slightly sweet pale malty, floral, grassy, herbal spicy overtones, a resinous touch. Delicate, mellow, well balanced.

Many thanks to kappldav for this 33cl bottle! Fresh and malty beer with moderate neutral bitterness. The hemp is there in herbal hints on the background, not too deep or intense in this grainy and not too deep ground beer. I think the body is the wrong for this herbs. No subtleness, no place for the herbal aroma to develop. Sad.
