Description
The brewery Fuglsang can rightly call itself Denmark's oldest family-owned brewery. Søren Christian Fuglsang founded the brewery in 1865, and today it is some of his great-grandchildren who, with respect for the craft and the raw materials, produce solid South Jutland beer.
The family also runs its own export malt factory, which is Denmark's largest and one of the few independents in Europe - it is the one that supplies a large part of the good malt to Fuglsang's beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, orange amber with a roughish off-white head. Vague peach in the nose - very vague. Body is kinda thin and watery, a hint of fruitiness and some late bittering hops. But there'e very, very little going on here. But it's wet which is a good thing if you're thirsty....140618

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a small, rough off-white head. Typical banana and clove esters in the nose. Rich, sweet, fatty, fruitiness of a body with more solid banana esters. No the most refined or sophisticated of Hefes, but it does the job and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. 120618
