The bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, dark brown, small head. Alcoholic-malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasty, earthy, light smokey. Light sweetish notes. Also quite alcoholic. Finish could definetely be more balanced. Warming-alcoholic aftertaste. Okay.

500ml bottle bought at Schwerter Schankhaus in Meissen. Nice label design. A clear golden body under a remaining white head. Clingy lacing. Discreet malty aroma, dry and sweet. Taste of dried fruits, honey, and mild noble hops. Ends rather sweet. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Rating session with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 07.09.2016).

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Dark amber with a medium head. On the sweet side with roasted malt, caramel some fruit and light ash. Medium body and bitterness.

Flaske 500ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og djoeye på Nerstranda 22 Jul 16. Mørk gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Etterlater nydelige filigranser. Utmerket maltaroma. Litt søt. Smaken søt malt. Bra - men i søtligste laget.

500ml bottle bought from a store in Meissen. Good looking with its deep amber body and lasting off-white head. Decent lacework as well. Ripe fruity aroma with hints of brown malts. Dried and dark fruity flavours together with bread and caramel malts. Prolonged finish with some impact of leafy hops. Fine bodied. Good drinking, only a bit too sweet in the long run (shared with djoeye and Finn at a summertime session in Tromsø, 22.07.2016).

Mid-sweet and mid-dry pale malty flavours, discreet impact of noble hops. Mid-sweet malty ending. Medium to thin bodied. Average stuff (MS Elbe Princesse, Elben 05.07.2016).

300ml, bier vom Fass at the lovely Biergarten at Schwerter Schankhaus. A covering beige head to a deep, dark brown coloured body. Spotty lacing. Roasted dark malty smell. Roasted flavour profile, hints of dark dough and liquorice. Rounded dark malty ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant enough (Meissen 04.07.2016).
