Cask @Meat And Barrel, Portsmouth. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma has strong diacetyl, butterscotch, some fruityness. Light-bodied. Flavor is also dominated by diacetyl, not much of Cadcade to talk about. Dry citrus finish. Something gone wrong.

Cask at teh Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. An opaque black pour with a thin beige head, and a dim tawny glint when held to the light; the aroma has some light honey; the mouthfeel is smooth but rather thin, and slightly sweet with a honey taste that isn’t overpowering; rounded off with a dry floury finish. This falls short of being a decent mild, and also of being a decent honey ale.

On tap at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. An attractive bright reddish copper colour with a dense Jersey cream head; fruity aroma; sour fruity taste - a blend of red plums and citrus - and a smooth creamy body; then a lasting pleasant herbal bitterness. A satisfying beer - I’ll be paying much more attention to the keg craft beers in JDW’s from now on!

Fra fat på Company Inn i Nottingham 20 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gylden. Lavt, lett farget luftig skum. Beskjeden nøttearoma. Smaken tørket frukt. Bare det. Kanskje hint av nøtter i avslutninga.

Cask @ Moon Under Water, Manchester. Deeper amber coloured with a small head. Seems to have a strength, but also a general crispness with a low bitterness.
