Keg at Open Gate. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is smooth, bitter - sweet, softly spiced vibes, honey drizzled shizz, toffee and caramac. The taste is smooth, spicy, bitter, rye bread, woody, earthy, caramel, toffee, brown bread, ryvita and earthy with a drying, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty ok.

Keg at Open Gate. It pours clear deepest brown with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty, earthy, bitter - sweet, cola, caramel, smooth roast and toasty brown sugars. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, woody, cacao nibs, toasty spice, earth and some umami with a drying, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fair.

Quite, quite basic. Soft berry character. A little bread. Light seedy bitterness. Not a lot to it but it drinks OK.

Keg at Open Gate London. It pours lightly hazy rose with a medium white head. The aroma is toasty grains, damp grain, muted berry / jammy character, grass and coriander seeds. The taste is soft, juicy, jammy, soft berry, tangy, toasty grains, dull acidity and some rawness wig a drying finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty so-so.

Not bad overall. Rich and malty, some oily pine, gooey malts, mellow bitterness. Semi-ripe citrus fruits. Nips of berries. Pretty decent overall.

Keg at Open Gate, London. It pours slightly hazy yellow with a medium bubbly white head. The aroma is fragrant, coriander seeds, damp grain, straw, orange peel and wheat bread. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, toasty grains, earthy, fragrant, herbal, coriander seeds, grass, orange peel, slight soapy and woody. Average body and moderate carbonation. Not as drinkable as I would have expected. Very run of the mill.
