Description
Hilden Brewing Company was established by Ann and Seamus Scullion in 1981 in the courtyard of Hilden House the former home of the Barbour linen barons. Here the Scullions reintroduced into Ireland the tradition of a local brewery making beers of distinctive character and taste. Hilden is now the oldest independent brewery on the island of Ireland. The brewery is now managed by Seamus and Ann’s son Owen who is a qualified and full time brewer.
Our craft beer takes a little bit longer to brew than others. Selecting the finest ingredients and handcrafting the traditional process demands patience. But 35 years? That’s how long we’ve been making our full flavoured beers, improving and perfecting them year after year. It makes us the oldest independent brewery in Ireland and those who drink our beer agree it’s been time well spent.

Can from Flavourly. Easy drinking with a girthy bitterness. Hoppy. Nothing to write about but tasty.

Can from Flavourly. Pours just clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus and mango. Taste is more of the same. Chalky finish.

23/12/2022. Can from Flavourly.com. Pours clear bright pale golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, straw, yeast, grass, touch herbal. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tart edge. Light body, watery, fizzy. Another underwhelming flavourly collab.
