(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, almost black with a tint of red. Small, off-white head. Spicy aroma with some dried fruits in there also. Fairly full in body, roasted malt accents and a vaguely burned edge. Rather spicy - ginger? The finish is dry. Delicious. 120507

(On tap) Very hazy, dark brown with a creamy, off-white head. Very spicy aroma - anise - and some burned, ashy edges. Rather light in body - a bit watery actually. Very unclean notes of burned malt - as if an ashtray had been emptied into it. Dry finish with some spices. 120507

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Near black.Tarry nose. Sweet and very resiny with a strange plastic unpenetrable mouthfeel. Herbal bitter finish. The very strange mouthfeel makes it feels like the beer is surrounded by a baloon when I drink it, and no flavours seep out.
