(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Very cloudy, amber colour with a huge and dense, slightly off-white head. Yeasty and slightly milky, sour-fruity nose with distinctive notes of strawberries. Yeasty-bitter and sourish fruity taste with light notes of strawberry; light bodied with a very soft carbonation. Very strong yeasty and slightly fruity finish with rather unpleasant notes of plastic and glue. Failed attempt.

Bottle. Unclear, golden-orange body and a beige head. A bit sour on the nose, with some caramel and spices, amongst them cinnamon. Cinnamon is present in the flavor as well, along with malty sweetness, candisugar and some caramel. Medium to full body. Sweet, slightly spiced finish, Christmas spices. Nice, and a bit unusual. Bottle. Pours a golden to orange body, a bit unclear, with a nice, beige head. There’s a little sourness in the aroma that I could easily live without, as well as some pine and some malt. The sourness is present in the flavor as well, but quite subdued, leaving room for pine and caramel, and a little maltyness. The mouthfeel is medium full, and quite fizzy. This is a beer I would like to taste again, it is quite nice, and I think the sourness is not intended, and sure lowers my score a bit. (070809)

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a dense brown head. Dark roasted and liqourice aroma. Dry woody flavour with a strong liqourice flavour. Ends quite dry, almost smoked, but the roasted malt and liqourice pulls it towards a rather dry and dark finish. Lacks a bit more body and smoothness to be really great.
