Bottle: As black as ink, big creamy, stable head with a little lace, citrus-fruity traces in the distinctive caramelly,a bit espresso-like and robust malty nose; medium bodied, solid bitter-sweet flavour, smooth, coffeeish-bitter and malty finish. Very good beer....

50 cL bottle, thanks to Papsø for getting 1 out of only 50 bottles. Pours hazy dark brown with a light reddish hue and a dense light brown head. Ginger heavy aroma with a mild chocolate malt note beneath. Flavour is metallic malty with a lingering ginger finish. Mild chocolate malt smooth. Soapy feel. Ginger and slight bitter finish swept in chocolate malt. WAY too much ginger for my liking, this brew could have been fantastic if only it had a fraction of the ginger it has.

Bottled (BB 12/2007)
Hazy orange , nut brown color, huge brownish cloudy head. Aromatic, but also vegetably hoppy nose. Nicely hoppy, a bit yeasty, American hoppy flavor. Maltier than Ölands bitters, but otherwise very similar. Nice.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy reddish/brown with a diminished light brown head. Berry fruity aroma. Slight alcohol note. Flavour starts out with a fruity barley note before a more smooth chocolate note kicks in. Finish is slight smooth, roasted malt and some chocolate. Nice

Hazy pink color, good creamy pinky head. Barnyardish aroma with strong strawberry, like Oudbeitje without sourness. Medium-bodied. Barnyard, horseblanket, strawberries, hops and yeast in the flavor. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Kind of "lambic" - unique Dane.
