Black with tiny light brown head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and liquerice notes. Sweet flavor that holds roasted malt, dark chocolate, hops and coffee. Ends slightly bitter.

50 cL bottle. Pours amber with almost no head. I smell and taste orange followed by some caramel and cinnamon. Mild towards thin does however have som notes well hidden - too hidden under the anise, cinnamon and orange.

In my fathers home town they make some great beers like this.Hazy orange colour with large fluffy head.Aroma of sweet caramel and hops well balanced and slight tosted mouth feels who gives this beer a nice and round finish.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Light amber colour. Powerfull perfumed flowery aroma because of the lavender flowers added. Very perfumed soapy flavor, way too one-dimentional. Long finish. Oily palate. Too weird for me but anyone who likes mixture of beer, soap and lavender this is the beer for them! Actually a brave attempt of making something unusual.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of lavender as well as notes of other spices and flowers. The flavor is sweet malty and dominated by lavender - too much for my liking, but it also has a slight flowery character. A bit off-centered - but interesting.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, pale amber golden with a small, off-white head. Extremely perfumy lavender aroma. Medium body without much of a malt feel but completely dominated by the extreme, soapy lavender notes. Somewhat astringent finish. I’ve had lavender in my beer before without liking it much. But in this one it’s SO extreme that it’s actually quite fascinating. But clearly not to everyone’s liking! 260208
