As Bryggerigaarden Imperial Stout. 50 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Black body with a tan, creamy head. What first hits you is an earthy, yeasty almost sourish note, quite unusual for a stout. Hard roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some licorice and fruitiness. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture, soft carbonation. Finishes with hard roasted malts, licorice, resin caramel and chocolate malts. Alcohol is well hidden. Without doubt a good beer, but I´d wonder weather that yeasty, sourish note should be there.
