Bottle, courtesy of yespr. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with stable white head. Intense acidic flavour with some yeasty notes. Clear, bitter hoppy flavour with notes of yeast and a dry, metallic aftertaste. It needs re-rating as the bottle is 7 months past BBD.

Golden with a lasting white head. Weak aroma of citrus and floral hops. Sweetish fruity and floral flavour with a mild bitter finish. Very subdued character, but it works as a spring ale

500 ml bottle, under its alleged alias Vendia Hirtshals. ABV is 4.6%. Bought in Hirtshals. Pale yellow colour, slightly hazy (chill haze?), moderate white head. Grassy aroma, nothing special. The flavour is medium dry, grainy and bland and utterly forgettable.

On tap @ the brewpub. Slightly foggy, golden body with a light, but lacing off-white head. Mild, but rather nice in the nose. Light, smooth malty flavor, plain but refreshing. Medium body and medium aftertaste. Quite plain, but actually nice and refreshing as a Marzen. And finally – no butterscotch this time.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear reddish golden body with a nice, dense white heat. Mild aroma with caramel malt and just a tiny hint of butterscotch, not really displeasing. Flavor is sweet but quite refreshing malt, some caramel, fruity, light bitterness and again a hint of butterscotch. Medium body and a bit more obvious bitterness in aftertaste. Perfectly OK, but nothing extraordinary in any way.

On tap @ the brewpub. Almost clear amber body with an off-white head. Aroma is medium malty with caramel, hint of butterscotch and light spicy. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, a bit fruity, light spicy and butterscotch. Medium body and some hint of sourness in the aftertaste. Despite a hint of butterscotch it’s not really bad, but could have been a lot better without this off flavor.
