Bottle, 2.9%. Weak bready aroma. The flavour is also bready, but actually quite close to a normal strength lager. Almost clear yellow colour. Small white head. Quite good for ABV.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a massive foamy white head. Discreet aroma: yeasty, slightly sweet and restrained fruity nose with rather strong phenolic spice of cloves, nutmeg and vanilla. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Wheaty and light fruity taste with vanilla and cloves; almost dry, sweet and slightly tart finish with light fruity notes, but phenolic spice. Not very rounded Hefeweizen (14.08.08).

Bottled. A light golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of straw, but also light notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, leading to a dry bitter finish. Nicely clean.

50 cL bottle, thanks to Hildigöltur. Pours hazy yellow to orange with little lacing head. Grainy malty. Flavour is slight mouldy and grainy. Slight caramel flavour. Goes slight dry into the finish with a persisting malty note. Another great palate cleanser of the night :)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Fresh, lightly floral nose. Medium body with very clean malt accents, again pleasant floral hop notes before a lightly bitter finish. Nice alright. 280907

Bottle: Cloudy, golden to orangey coloured, big rocky white head, that sticks to the glass and diminishes slowly; mainly freshly mowed hay in the nose plus na dash of almost caramelly maltiness; moderate bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, fizzy mouthfeel; short fruity (citrus?)- bitter finish with a tinge of yeasty tartness. A good, decent Kellerbier......

Bottle: Golden coloured, small, quite firm whgite head; sweet-fruity-grainy nose with a faint tinge of grassy hops; sweetish-malty flavour, light to medium bodied; malty-bready finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite well rounded and refreshing in a silent way.............

Bottle: Dark reddish-amber coloured, thin lacing off-white head; sweet dark malt and roasted malt in the nose; light sweetish-malty flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty, a bit toasted finish with a tinge of coffeeish bitterness. A friendly Dunkel with the grumpy angel "Aloisius" (a cult-figure in Bavaria) on the label......
