7/11/2025. Cask at the 13th Beccles Beer Festival. Quite a lifeless pour. Aroma is hoppy, peachy, orange, lucozade, flowers, blossom. Quite sweet with mild bitterness. Hint of spice developed. Moderate body, light spritzy carbonation. Improved on initial impressions but a bit of a miss for me.

Bottle conditioned from the brewery. Clear mahogany colour lasting beige head. Malty. Spicy esb hoppy peppery aroma. Smells yummy. Yes its a traditional English malt English hopped strong ale. Good malt backbone. Some syrup flavour. Good ale yeast fruity esters of red and dark fruits. Hedgerow. White pepper hop finish. Maybe a little better condition would help. But its bloody delicious. Tastes of England.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Aroma of malts, biscuit and caramel. Quite watery but delivers on the slightly bitter finish. Easy to drink.

Oldham Beer Festival 2023. Dark clear copper-amber with a glow to it. Smooth tasting porter, fairly full in its taste at a very appealing strength. Includes mild roasted malts in both aroma and taste.
