As Weihnachts Märzen. Clear dark golden with a big fluffy head. Candied malt, caramel, hay, metal, some resin, rye. Metallic bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry metallic grainy malty bittersweet finish. Good Märzen overall.

500 ml bottle, 7% abv. Clear copper with a foamy head. Caramel, iron, roasted malt, tobacco, raisins, again iron and resin, dry bitter hops. Malty boozy sweetness, metallic bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry metallic malty bittersweet warming finish. Actually a pretty decent Doppelbock!

Bottle picked up at Hit Supermarket, Aichach consumed at home Saturday 4th December 2021 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6 Music we had a grear Bayerisch dish, Beef Roulades with Gherkins and Bacon and served with homemade Finger Gnocchi. Pours clear gold, excellent clarity,, white head atop. This is a nice clean, sweet initially but then dry, light fruity Helles a touch of breadyness, I really like this.

Unterbaarer Meister Pils, Fläschchen von Getränke König, Oettingen. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase getreidiges helles Malz und etwas matte blumig-grasige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk satt hellmalzig mit deutlicher Malzsüße, gegen die eine gar nicht schlechte grasig-orangenfruchtige Hopfenherbe sich erst allmählich durchsetzt. Milder rezent, füllig statt schlank (kein Wunder bei 5,5 % - das ist ja schon Märzenstärke). Im Abgang immer noch Malzsüße und kräftige krautige Hopfenherbe, die in einen dumpf bitteren Nachtrunk übergeht. - Keine Meisterleistung, dieses malzdicke, eher plump gehopfte Pils. (25.6.2020.)

ABV: 3.0%. Clear medium to light orange to yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, light weizen yeast, light banana, light clove. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, bread, wheat, sweet malt, fruity yeast, light weizen yeast, light fruit - fruit tart notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20191223]
