Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and dry with modest fine carbonation. Dry pale malts. Soap tinged floralness. Trace of fruits. Very dry finish. Not good at all. A worthy cause but a poor beer. Whatever happened to Pitfield?

Cask at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy white head. Huge floral aroma, rose water. Light sweet flavor with dominant rose petals, some lemon zest. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Perfume pervades the finish, with more roses, general flowers. Novel, but that’s it.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Murky lemon yellow with moderate off white edgeing. Nose is big Turkish delight perfume, floral, lavendar. Taste comprises sweet melon, floral, more Turkish delight. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close full of sweet perfume. 1 trick novelty pap, could have dumped a load of Turkish delight in any random golden blonde tbh! My fellow raters seem to have picked up a high on the sweet floral nature of this one!

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear Beer Fest 2014. Aroma is HUGE turkish delight, rose petals, perfume. So unique on the nose, never had a beer like this. Clouded, but fairly bright yellow/ golden coloured pour with no head. Flavour is perfume, turkish delight, doughy bit flabbby grains. Long duration of pargumme and sugar. Palate is semi-sweet, doughy and moderate carbonation. So unique

Cock Tavern. Cask. Cloudy gold beer, residual white head. Great nose of Turkish Delight. Palate is light and semi dry and a little crisp. Sweet rose and little floral perfume. Touch of citric lemon before a semi dry light finish. Floral linger. Different and tasty.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear 2014. It pours cloudy gold with a decent white head. The nose is almost intoxicating... fresh, rose, big Turkish delight, icing sugar and candy. The taste is bitter-sweet, stewed orange, rose/Turkish delight, mild soap, creamy, icing sugar and fragrant potpourri. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great fun.
