Enjoyed at family's place. Pours a clear deep brown colour, not quite opaque black. Light brown frothy head. Aroma's are roasted, licorice root, sweetish, berries. Retronasal it's sweetish, chocolate, drop. Flavour is moderate sweet, moderate roasted bitter. Light medium bodied. Finishes with berries and chocolate, moderate bitter. OK.

Pours a clean amber colour with big frothy warm cap, good stay and full web lacing. Malty nose with cereal grain aromas, kind of like hay. The taste is lighter, but malty as well. Hint of wheat in the finish, maybe. Slight honey on the tongue that lingers. A decent ale that is not as rich as expected.

Pounder: Pink grapefruit nose. Cloudy amber, thick head, good lace. Sweet grapefruit, lemonade. Light body, easy carbonation. Quite tasty.

On tap at Gusto, Moncton, NB. Clear reddish brown with a small lingering khaki head that leaves tight lace. Mose is brown sugar, caramel, and maple along with some roast. Light to medium molasses sweetness, though fortunately not as pronounced as the nose. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation.

Very nice citrus nose with the grapefruit and lemon juices. A little sourness in the taste as more of the lemon juice is felt than the grapefruit, but with the beer grain shining in the finish. A yeasty aftertaste. Then, some more mild sourness. I must say that I am quite surprised with this one, not expecting much from this brewery, but not too sweet and well blended between the fruit juices and the beer. Also higher alcohol content than most radler.

Can that pours a hazy light golden-yellow colour with a big creamy white cap, good stay and some decent lacing. Fruity nose with the strawberries and mild sour rhubarb. Lactose sweetness comes out eventually. Becomes hazier and lots of particles through it. Very light tart in the mouthfeel. Slight creaminess. The fruits are quite light in the taste. Not much of a punch as flavours are so low, but nothing bad all around.
