This light lager poured a clear, light yellow colour with a bright white, frothy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include corn, honey and dough. First swig was almost water. With a very light corn and cereal bouquet. Finish is very light and... meh.

On tap at Epcot Food & Wine Festival in Canada pavilion. Hazy gold with small white head. Fruity malt nose. Sweet fruit juice flavor. Very refreshing and well paired with the Wild Mushroom Beef Folet Mignonette we enjoyed.

A great way of sampling singles, the Old Chicago..
A straw yellow colour with a fine head of foam that doesn't stick around long.
The smell is light grain, metallic notes, and a hop bitterness that's very citrus like. Pretty decent.
The taste is of grain, some sweet malt, and a pretty tasty hop citric bitterness. Not bad at all in fact, I quite like it.
Usual mouthfeel for the style but it's a pretty darned drinkable drop. For me, occasional use isn't out of the question.

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Medium golden pour with nice one finger fluffy head. And that's about as good as it gets. Grainy aroma, wet paper notes.Taste is more of the grains and paper, with a hint of cooked vegetables. Not much different from a lager. American golden ale? not sure if that fits either. Not that good...

Crowler - Lots of sweet maple notes. Deep dark brown with a small white head. Sweet maple, woody notes and a bitterness. Sweet and a bit thin.

Brown body, seems to be vanilla, maple maybe? This has a strong maple character. For me, it's thin, and the lack of malt body means that the maple just sits there, without any complement, support or structure. The maple character is nice, but this is definitely unbalanced.

Part of their small batch series. Moosehead London Stout was actually brewed for quite a while until some time in the late 80s. I'm not sure how faithful this beer is to that recipe. Medium brown. The aroma has dark fruits, light toastiness, and maybe a bit of butteriness. On the palate, has some toffee notes, touch of roast. Finishes sweetish, lagery, and again with a dark fruit note. Not sure what the abv is on this, but it's probably over 6% anyway. Seems like a richer version of the old Labatt Guinness, Champlain Porter or something like that - but better.

Crowler - Sweet and dark fruit, molasses and dark malts. Jet black brown with a nice beige head. Dark roast, nice toffee sweetness and a long bitter sweet finish. Sweet but quite nice.
