GBBF Day 2. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly white head. Light dry palate with fine carbonation. Light floral tang. Very light dried fruit - citrus. Light dry finish. Not too twiggy for a bitter.

On cask at Wilkes Head, Leek - Clear copper with a thin ivory head. Sweet fruity honey malt aroma. Light honey and bready malt flavour with a very light grassy finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. It is what it’s supposed to be, a light easy drinking blonde, and nothing offensive.

The Black Bulls Head, Openwoodgate, nr Belper Derbyshire 5th April 2012 in company of Loz, dad & Pauline We had some stunning beers with Marble Dobber, Oakham Green Dragon just two of the others on offer, however this beer was my favourite of the evening at 4.9% it was also sessionable, just about! Fiercely bitter and dry, amber in colour with small white head and superb clarity. Full of juicy citrus loveliness this is punishingly bitter, rasps the tongue love this beer and returned to time and time again this evening.A7 A5 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

Has a lingering weiss aftertaste, fairly light-bodied but still full of flavour.
