500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is toasted malt, earthy hops, toffee. Taste is tangy, fruity, malt, herbal hops. To me it’s just an English bitter.

Keg @ Black Bull Inn, Coniston. Golden with a thick frothy-bubbly head. Has a heavy carbonation and an understated lager character, but this is not a bad thing as it's quite refreshing for it.

Bottle @ Black Bull Inn, Coniston. Clear golden with no head. Light hoppy bitter but the pasteurisation evident. Would stick to cask on this.
