Bottle after installing drywall around drain pipes in the future kitchen. Barely hazy gold with moderate head, nose is sweet, buttery (hmm). The flavor is a bit buttery and a tad vegetal. Overall decent bitterness balance and malty flavor complexity, but these flaws definitely bring it down a bit.

Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of banana, yeast, citrus, a bit metallic. Taste is rather watery, some light sweet notes, a bit bitter. Not a very nice hefeweizen.

Had this sat outside Frank, at a brilliant free Wohnmobilparkplatz, Gerbrunn, Würzburg, Sunday 14th August 2022. I picked up the bottle from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm. Pours brown with an off white head, a little chewy, malty and toffee, mid sweetness, a little dark fruit skins. Not really enjoying this though, not sure why, I thought that the heat would have cooled off a little bit more by now. Will try again for certain.

Flascherl: Cloudy, deep golden to light amber coloured, small and stable off-white foamy layer, moderate sweetish and mildly sourish, fruity and wheat-malty nose, presumably tart traces of necrotic yeast detectable; moderate sweet and mildly sourish flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; shorter fruity and yeasty finish with a repeating yeasty tartness in the sftertaste. O.K., surely not really grest…

500 ml bottle. Cloudy amber, big fluffy head. Rye, chestnut, estery notes, some caramel, dry citrus notes, some banana. Mild dryness, fruity sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty finish. Nice and unusual Weißbier!

(19.10.2021.)

Bottle. Golden, fine carbonatio, white lacing creamy head. Hayish juicy malt and grassy hop aroma. Medium body, fine sparkly on the palate. Chewy grainy base, summery hay, crackers, light berry and bubblegum, grassy, light herbal hop balance. A little bit sticky aftertaste. Quite allright
