Description
A hardworking northern brewery.

We’re on a mission to grow Beartown by challenging ourselves and our community to dream big. It’s that simple. However It takes decades of dedication to truly understand that progress can’t be rushed. We understand that time doesn’t guarantee anything but a journey to be shared and it’s exactly that which inspires us.

Beartown means more than a pint of beer, it’s a community of drinkers that identify with a cause to give back to their roots. A spirited belief in the power of persistence, creativity and that a pint tastes best when earned. We have a vision to spread our ethos, furthering the growing community of Beartowners and all whilst making great tasting craft beers that can be enjoyed by generations.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a pale straw with a medium sized frothy almost white head. The aroma has tropical fruits together with dashes of lime and tangerine. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a creamy texture. Initial flavours are floral hops and tropical fruit with some hints of passion fruit. Later there is some bitterness and hints of grapefruit. Finish is slightly dry and sticky. Not my sort of beer at all – but it’s reasonable.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear pale yellow with a thick white head. Aromas of light passionfruit and damp malt. Taste is light bitter, grainy, light passionfruit. It's kind of subtle and not at the same time! Creamy texture, fruity bitter finish.
