Description
Folkingebrew was founded with the aim of brewing beer that we like to drink ourselves. That is why we make beers with a distinct character in taste, aroma and color.

Because of our passion for good beer, we try to get a little better with every beer and push our boundaries.

Folkinge, the first part of our name, refers to the location where we started brewing: in the 'backyard' of a beer shop on the Folkingestraat in Groningen. Brew refers to the American craft beer culture, where we get our inspiration.

Between 2018-2025 client brewer, became a brewery in 2025 but the large batches, which are canned, are still brewed at Baxbier.

CD 18/11. Lovely lemony yellow hazyness, with a white head. Smells fruity, but still subtle, bit grassy. Soft and easy drinking. Taste is very nice, obviously not as heavy hitting as their DIPA's, but well balanced. Some citrus, bunch of gooseberries. Yay.

Can at home. Opaque unclear yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, tropical fruity notes, dank and juicy hop notes. Over medium sweet (well said Maakun) with some berry notes perhaps, now you mention it.
Not a lot of bitterness but perhaps a bit. Alright.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Smooth pine into a light but very pleasing Sabro pineapple and coconut. Some mellow but reasonably rich Citra citrus. Also ran were Equanot and the formerly aggressively bitter but now lobotomized Galaxy hop, just some welcome fruit salad sweets. Smooth semi dry finish. Light and perhaps a little dry but packed with good hop fruits and very drinkable.
