Ascension brewing co. began it's journey august of 2015. we are a small microbrewery specializing in locally brewed craft ales and food. the beer and food offerings are constantly rotating so come into the taproom to see what is available today!

In our taproom, we believe using high quality, fresh ingredients in our food is the best way to enjoy our beer. Our staff are experts in making beer and food recommendations and pairings. They are knowledgeable and passionate about our beer, and aim to produce an outstanding customer experience with great attention to detail!

Draft at Ascension. 2019 batch with a recipe rework according to Ascension. Pours a clearish chestnut brown with a small beige head that dissipates. Huge maple nose with some maple cream, praline and light toffee aromas. Well rounded mouthfeel. More sweet maple. And praline with some toasted malt and pecan pie-like flavors. Lingering maple finish.

Last 3 Oz of the keg at Ascension. Pours a pitch black with a half finger of beige head that lasts. Fresh baked brownies, almond, hazelnut and warming alcohol on the nose. Cinnamon shines on the palate with more chocolate and creamy hazelnut mid-palate. Relatively smooth for the abv. Light vanilla then a punch of cinnamon that lingers. Everything in its right place.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a chestnut brown to black with a quickly dissipating half finger of foam. Big maple syrup forward nose with marzipan, hazelnut and light coffee aromas. Creamy on the palate with more marzipan and maple syrup. Some baked brownie as it warms with a maple but frosting note. ABV totally obscured. A bit sweet but solid pastry overall.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy watermelon pink color with a quickly dissipating finger of foam. Jammy plum, raspberry and wild strawberry on the nose. More of the same on the palate with tart sumomo, berry and jam. Lingering tartness with some light wheat graininess. Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy, juicy straw gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Dank pine, papaya and mango skin and a touch of green on the nose. Juicy palate with some more dank, arugula and green hops on the finish. Some hop burn now but should mellow out.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy orange golf with a half finger of foam that dissipates. Big pungent ruby red grapefruit pith and juice on the nose. Medium tartness...lots of pith and bitter zest on the palate. Bitter, pithy finish that lingers.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy, gold color with a finger of white foam that lingers. Big dank, pungent aromas with guava, passion fruit and citrus pith that lingers. More of the same on the palate with some resinous dank, pine and durian notes. Dankness really sticks throughout and lingers through to the finish. Enjoyable.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy gold with a small bit of white foam that dissipates. Big vanilla and mango forward nose with lots of juicy, tropical hop notes. A bit sweet on the nose. More vanilla, mangoes and cream on the palate with some pineapple and mild citrus notes. Good sweet vanilla and tangy tropical fruit notes throughout.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a deep ruby color with small off-white head that lingers. Lovely blackcurrant and redcurrant forward nose with some light muscat and cinnamon aromas. Barbe Rouge has such crazy aromatics. Smooth on the palate with the currant notes really showing. Tart redcurrant, citrus zest, muscat notes all linger. Very good.
